Fille Rouge ( Red girl ) A portrait approach to my work of a woman’s face with red highlights and a red shoe earring adorning her face. It’s no doubt that I have a love affair with the human face and the shoe and this painting justifies that many times over. I use a blotted ink technique here so prominent in early Warhol works which so reminds me of the days I worked with Andy and admired his approach to art and to life.
