Haut Ballet ( High Ballet ) My cut out version of my high heeled ballet shoe in the dance pose . On this piece I left the background in black ink and the actual ballet design in a stark white that floats on the paper. You can see the grain in the watercolor paper which accents the background and gives the painting true life and mystery as to what kind of woman would dance in these shoes ?
