X does mark the spot on this X pump stiletto . I took the X and made it a part of the shoe design and painting. The main painting dominates with a second painting lighter underneath . India ink highlights this painting and as you can see the lighter shoe is placed with the heel upwards to give the piece more dimension . The cut out effect in this piece is typical of my style that I developed while working with Roger Vivier .
